was born in Hamburg in 1970. He studied at the Univer-
sity of Music and Theatre Hamburg with a specialty in jazz
trombone and since then has worked as a musical director,
pianist, and trombone player at a number of theatres in nor-
thern Germany.
In addition to composing and arranging for renowned big
bands such as the Civica Jazz Band in Milan, Italy, and the
NDR Big Band (Hamburg), he also plays piano accompani-
ment, sings and composes alongside Lutz von Rosenberg-
Lipinsky, Tini Prüfert and Robert Gernhardt.
Since 1999 he’s toured and recorded extensively with Etta
Scollo.
He lives in Berlin.
