Elmar Krick

began his musical career with studies in classical saxophone
and sound engineering at the University of Music Düsseldorf.
He then went on to study jazz in Hamburg with Roman
Schwaller and Peter Weniger, taking part in numerous work-
shops with the likes of Joe Lovano and Jimmy Heath.

Never lacking for projects, Elmar has played with the Dusko
Gojkovic Munich Big Band, the Harald Rueschenbaum Jazz
Orchestra and is Lead Altist with the Munich Lounge Lizards.
He also heads the Saxophone Quartet »Munich Saxophone
Department« and the Jazz Quintet »House of Jade«.
